Mustangs have long been a part of America's culture. Descended from the horses brought to the country by the Spanish explorers, Mustangs are feral horses that roam the western United States. Over generations, these horses mixed with domesticated herds, and developed into the hardy Mustangs we know today. Ages 4+

The Appaloosa is known for its uniquely spotted coat that comes in many patterns. This beautiful Appaloosa has a black semi-Leopard pattern. Appaloosas are hardy horses that make excellent stock, pleasure, and trail mounts. Age: 4+

Quarter Horses are the most popular breed in the United States! Great sprinters, the American Quarter Horse is the fastest breed in the distance of a quarter mile! While Quarter Horses are a fantastic "all-around" breed, they are often used for Western riding and can be seen at rodeos, working on ranches, and performing in the show ring! This breed comes in many colors! The American Quarter Horse Association recognizes: Sorrel, bay, black, brown, buckskin, chestnut, dun, red dun, gray, grullo, palomino, red roan, blue roan, bay roan, perlino and cremello. Age: 4+

A Thoroughbred/Quarter Horse cross is also known as an Appendix Quarter Horse. This is a popular cross, and usually results in a taller and more refined horse. Owners of these crosses enjoy them for everything from eventing to trail riding and barrel racing! Age: 4+

Morgans are easily recognized by their graceful carriage and usually tend to be bay, black or chestnut, although they can be many other colours as well.

*Appaloosas are descendants of the spotted horses bred by the Nez Perce Indians in the 1800s. *Appaloosas have 4 identifiable characteristics: coat pattern, mottled skin (a speckled or blotchy pattern of pigmented and non-pigmented skin), white sclera (sclera is the area of the eye which encircles the iris), and striped hooves. *Appaloosas horses are especially coveted when they have a wildly varied coat pattern. Their breed registry, the Appaloosa Horse Club, recognizes 13 base colours of coat (bay, grulla, palomino, etc.) and 6 coat patterns in addition to solid within those base colours: blanket, spots, roan blanket, and roan blanket with spots. *They stand from 14-16 hands high, and weigh 950-1250 pounds.

*The Arabian is thought to be the oldese known breed of horse. By 1500 BC, the Bedouins had acheived mastery over a hot-blooded breed of horses, which eventually became known as "Arabians." *Bedouins treasured their horses and they lived with them in their desert tents. *Today's Thoroughbreds were descended from the horse known as the Godolphin Arabian. *Arabians are intelligent, have tremendous stamina and a wonderful temperament. They are very competitive in endurance riding, racing and horse showing. *Arabians are also good family horses and make wonderful leisure companions for trail and pleasure riding. 4+

*The Haflinger breed originated with the birth of a stallion named 249 Folie; a cross between a Tyrolean mountain horse mare and an Arabian stallion in Austria *Originally used as a light working horse, today's Haflinger is a superb riding or driving horse with an appealing quiet temperament, willingness, great stamina and excellent character. *Haflingers can be and shade of chestnut from light to dark with a flaxen mane and tail. *Haflingers generally range between 13.2-15hh. They have a prominent headlong neck, medium back, large sloping shoulders, and strong croup. Their size and temperament make them an ideal family horse.
